EDMONDS HILLSIDE

portfolio

The removal of a large Douglas fir tree initiated a complete overhaul of this plant-lovers once shady backyard slope.  New stone steps allow the site to be accessible from the top where the greenhouse lies as well as the opposite side of the natural creek flowing through the garden.  A flagstone landing with a stone bench was added to create a new place to rest and enjoy the garden from a previously inaccessible vantage point.
