GREENWOOD CRAFTSMAN

A talented contractor had recently finished adding a second story and restoring period details to his Greenwood craftsman home when he contacted me to help add landscaping to his front yard.  His primary interest was in having a colorful yet low maintenance garden with multi-season interest that complimented the style of his home.

I decided to choose a plant palette anchored by evergreen foliage in sunset shades of tangerine and eggplant.  By doing so he’d get the color he desired without the fussy dead-heading and trimming needed by flowering perennials.
