SERVICES
LANDSCAPE DESIGN:
My approach to design, first and foremost, is to listen carefully to what you want, whether it be a low maintenance, low water use backyard or a formal entry to your home – creating a space that reflects how you hope to use and feel in your garden is my priority.
THE PROCESS:
After an initial conversation to learn more about your project and to see if we’re the right fit, I’ll send you a questionnaire that allows you to share more details about your space and your desires for how you’d like to use it. I’ll then schedule an on-site consultation to learn more about your garden, your style and any special considerations such as drainage or screening issues. From this meeting, you will receive a proposal outlining the scope of the design and deliverables. Once I receive your signed agreement and a 50% deposit, I’ll put you on the design schedule and return for site analysis and measurements. From here, I will begin the design process and create two concepts that we will review in- person. At this meeting I’ll share the plan view concepts, material choices and discuss plant palettes. The next phase is a final design that includes a detailed planting plan, list of plants that includes sizes and quantities as well as a maintenance plan.
My goal is to create a space within your budget that will be enjoyable from both the outside and inside of your home – whether it be a colorful oasis, a place for family and friends to gather, a haven for wildlife, or simply a private refuge for rest and relaxation.
Design fees start at $2,000 and vary depending on the complexity and size of the project.
